    • Products Luristic offers products that help companies develop applications or websites with Rich User Experiences (RUE) that lure, engage, convert, and retain their users. Our products are meant to complement some of the most popular Rich Interactive Applications (RIA) platforms such as Adobe AIR, Adobe Flex, and Microsoft Silverlight. The basic philosophy behind our products is to offer the ideal user experience by merging the best practices of all three words: desktop, web, and mobile computing. The main objective behind our products is to diffuse the usage of RIA in the mainstream instead of being restricted to niches.     • LureBar LureBar is an open standard RIA component that offers the most advanced features for a bar or sometimes referred to as a dock. Generally speaking, bars or docks provide a better user experience than conventional menu bars. Compared to other bars or docks, LureBar shines with its features and customization capabilities. The shape, size, and angle of the platform can be defined. Icons and their shadow can be chosen. The size, font, style, and color of labels of icons can be personalized. Tooltips with audio capability can be added. Thumbnails can be displayed upon hovering over icons. Special effects can be chosen for the enabled, hovered, clicked, and disabled states for each icon. LureBar is still under development. However, we can deliver some of its basic functions as part of our deliverables of our services to our customers.     • LureDoc LureDoc is an open standard RIA component that offers the most advanced features for a document player. LureDoc manipulates documents like a media player plays audio or video files. Documents can be brochures, catalogues, papers, reports, articles, manuals, books, slide presentations, and photo albums. LureDoc supports text, hypertext, links, audio, and video within the content of a document. It can process one document or a library of documents. LureDoc allows users to navigate through a document using thumbnails, bookmarks, links, tree, or table of content. LureDoc allows users to browse through a document using different animation techniques including flipping, sliding, panning, and scrolling.     • LureMap LureMap is an open standard RIA component that provides a comprehensive website map. It combines the best of the desktop and the web worlds by offering multiple views of the hierarchical structure of a website along with some intelligent shortcuts. Specifically, LureMap allows users to browse through a website using one of the following paradigms:  Accordion which behaves like the accordion in Microsoft Outlook.  Drop down menus which behave like the drop down menus in toolbars of any desktop applications. With LureMap,  Tree which behaves like Windows Explorer folders & file structure. you no longer have to wonder  Thumbnails which behaves similar to images of CDs in iTunes, iPod, how you got there iPhone, Acrobat Reader, and Windows Explorer. or how to go  Links which are hyperlinks to paragraphs in a webpage, which is somewhere. very similar to bookmarks in a PDF file. In addition, LureMap goes beyond the desktop by taking advantage of the web and web technologies by offering some very useful shortcuts including:  Bookmarked webpages.  Similar webpages to the one being viewed.  Recommended webpages based on system’s diagnosis of users’ surfing habits, behaviors, and preferences.  Most popular webpages based on number of visitors, frequency of visits, and longevity of visits all gathered by sophisticated web analytics. In summary, LureMap combines the best of all worlds by offering one integrated component with best-of-breed navigation paradigms that users are already familiar with.     • LureMedia LureMedia is an open standard RIA media player that can play audio, videos, or slides.     • LureSurf LureSurf is an open standard RIA component that minimizes scrolling by automatically figuring out the size and the resolution of the user’s screen. However, when scrolling is required, LureSurf offers the best page navigation paradigms including:  Sequential access: o Skipping using First, Previous, Next, and Last buttons. o Scrolling using the elevator in a scrollable bar. Scrolling is neither o Flipping like flipping a page in a brochure. productive nor fun. For instance, a section that takes 5 pages on a small screen may take only 3 pages on a big one. In order to avoid being intrusive by cluttering the webpage, the Navigation Toolbar which includes all the navigation controls, appears only when a user hovers his/her cursor over the “More” button or over a sensitive area at the very bottom of the content. However, in Settings, you can choose one of the following options for the Navigation Toolbar:  Hidden – becomes visible upon hovering over the “More” button or the sensitive area. This is the system default option.  Displayed – remains visible at all times. LureSurf is still under development.
