LIFE• Born August 1928 / Dead February 1987 in USA• Design graduated on Carnegie tecnology institute at 17• Worked as Illustrator on “Vogue”, “The New Yorker” (VIP magazines)• In 1952 made his first gallery on Hugo Galley• In 1956 many of his drawings were exposed on MOMA (NYC)
LIFE• In the 60’s started using publicity on his Pop Art, making it very important for it’s development• In 1965 became the manager of the Velvet Underground band• In 1968, Andy was shot on an attack. After a complicated cirgurgy he recovered and came back to his artistic life• Had a very close friend called Edie Segwick who influenced much of his work• Was a hard person to work to. He didn’t usually paid people to help him, and everybody close to him wasn’t seen in “good eyes”
