Are group decided to have are title ascalibre. We wanted as a group to havea name that wouldn’t be complicatedand has relevance to the genre of ourfilm. Calibre had a few hits on ourresearch were small independent filmcompanies used it as their title. Thiswas interesting as we wantedsomething that would fit the actiongenre and all the films that includedcalibre in their title were of actionfilms. But we were aloud to use“Calibre.” as our title name as thefilms we researched did not have theword as a individual title. For exampletheir was one film called calibre .45.
We followed many typical action scenes from thegenre, such as entering the film with a scene were there isalready conflict happening in the first two minutes of thefilm. This was a way reassuring that are film will have thefeel of an action film and give the audience what theyexpect to see in a action film.
We used match on action for our scenes which isanother technique for action films to ensurefighting and shooting scenes look more realisticand more immersive for the audience. Wedeveloped are shots with the help of action genreresearch to give the audience the right feel for thistype of film. We developed are films storylinepurposefully for this product to get the audiencestraight into a high energy action thrill. This is whata lot of real media products do in order to attracttheir target audience.
