The Independent Budget Office has submitted a list of potential saving opportunities that the City of New York should consider and/or explore in order to manage its fiscal conundrum. It is up to the new mayor to validate or completely disregard them altogether. I have compiled some of the eliminations and revenue generators recommended by the report that might have a negative and/or positive impact on the NYCDOE.
