1. Hallowed Ground – Opening scene
FatherHope is walkingdownthe lane nearthe town play park, whistling to himself. All of a sudden
he hears a faintscreamin the distance. He turnsto face the path at once, to look for any danger. He
sees nothing. He then runs down the path. There he sees two people. One struggling, the other is
calm.The calmgirl turnsat the soundof FatherHope,herhair is tangled, her face is pale, her hands
are blood soaked and cut. She drops Fred. While Father Hope drops to the floor in shock. Her eyes
are as blackas the eyesof the devil.She resumesstrangling the weak, vulnerable girl. Taking all his
life awayin a grasp of her neck.The boy fallsto the floor, silent, dead. Father Hope runs back down
the path and towards the church door at once. He is followed by Cecelia, who then gets distracted
and walks off.
