Patagonia is located in southern Argentina and contains the wine producing regions of Neuquén and Río Negro. Neuquén has 4,030 acres of vineyards located around 1,300-1,500 feet above sea level near the town of San Patricio del Chañar. The main grapes varieties are Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Malbec. Río Negro has 6,513 acres of vineyards located 980 feet above sea level in the Río Negro High Valley region. It also has Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Malbec as the primary grape varieties.
