The number of Italian Project Manager holding IPMA Certified Professional are much
lower than the corresponding number in foreign countries we face in international
markets.
Since this difference is worrying for all sectors of our economy (public and private,
profit and non-profit, environmental and social), we need to contribute to the gap
reduction bringing added value to participants.

4. Why Young Crew Italy

IPMA Young Crew Italy is a network for project managers and students between 25
and 35 years old, born to promote the culture of management, growth and
development of future Italian managers.

5. Why Young Crew Italy
The need of creating Young Crew Italy has been pursued actively and jointly by
Italian Project Management Academy and Prof. Antonio Calabrese.
Due to the strong effort he put in promoting and supporting the birth of YC Italy,
Prof. Calabrese has been nominated from the board of Italian Academy as main
referent of the group.

The mission of the Italian Section of Young
Crew is to promote Project Management
culture, contributing to its own development
and making young generations aware of the
concepts of management in order to address
successfully the challenges of new projects

7. Targets
Among the activities and objectives of the group :
Create a network / community to build a training family of young managers,
identifying their needs and providing opportunities for interaction and information
exchanging
Establish relations with Young Crews from other foreign countries
Collaboration and co-operation with Italian universities and research organizations
Organization of National / International events, courses and seminars
Support young members in their working environment
Young Crew Workshop & IPMA World Congress annual attendance.
