His family <ul><li>was born into a wealthy family in New York City </li></ul><ul><li>the second of four children of Theodore Roosevelt, Sr. (1831–1878) and Mittie Bulloch (1835–1884) </li></ul><ul><li>Had an elder sister Anna and two younger siblings—his brother Elliott and his sister Corinne </li></ul>
  4. 4. His education <ul><li>Theodore Roosevelt began his &quot;classroom&quot; education at Harvard, in Cambridge Massachusetts. As a boy Roosevelt had attended school for a short period, but his health prevented normal schooling for much of the time. At Cambridge he would meet some life long friends and colleagues. </li></ul>
