What is Diigo? Allows users to bookmark Highlight Sticky note And save websites to a Diigo cloud Access with any computer Or Mobile device
What for? Personal e reading or information you want to store can be saved by tags You can share and annotate things for a group to share You can work on a project together with your group It saves in a cloud so you can access anytime with any device and continue working on that project or page
Step 1 Go to Diigo.com, click on get started, and sign up for a free account
Step 2 Enter the required information
Step 3a Look for the Email to confirm your account
Step 3b Activate your account by going to the link
Step 4 Add the Diigolet to your bookmark toolbar by clicking and dragging it up
You are now ready to useDiigo! You can highlight text on a website and even add a sticky note
Easy to use! Once its on your bookmark bar, click on it when you are on a website you want to save or highlight, the menu pops up.
How to access Next time you go to your Diigo page, everything you saved is there, highlights, sticky notes, annotations, and all in My Library
Diigo Diigo is a great collaboration tool for groups to work on the same project Diigo is a great tool for individual research Diigo is a great tool for curating information you find on a particular subject area It is a great organizational tool for teachers to share internet information with students. Teachers can highlight and tag pertinent information on the page. It is easy to use and very similar to the way the kindle highlight function is used, plus bonus functions. Storing in a cloud for access anywhere and ability to access by a group are also bonus features.
