    2. 2. Curriculum <ul><li>Language Arts </li></ul><ul><li>Standard #7, Objective 2, Indicator E </li></ul><ul><li>The students will learn and practice how to make inferences using textual clues. </li></ul>
    3. 3. Technology <ul><li>I integrated technology into my lesson by having students participate in a class quiz which I found online. </li></ul><ul><li>I was able to project the entire quiz onto and LCD screen. </li></ul>
    4. 4. Positives and Negatives <ul><li>Positives </li></ul><ul><li>The students all had access to the information. </li></ul><ul><li>The students were all able to participate </li></ul><ul><li>The students were able to read the text to make inferences themselves rather than just being told. </li></ul><ul><li>Negatives </li></ul><ul><li>I wish that the students would have been able to have their own computers so that they could have taken the quizzes individually or as a small group. </li></ul>

Technology Use is Essential <ul><li>While using technology was essential in my lesson it did make the lesson more fun and interactive for my students. </li></ul><ul><li>The students really enjoyed being able to take a quiz that was online. </li></ul><ul><li>During the practicum I noticed the students loved using the computer so I knew that it would be a good way for them to pay attention and enjoy the lesson. </li></ul>

Focus on Learning Task <ul><li>I liked using the quiz because it only emphasized and helped the students to practice making inferences. </li></ul><ul><li>The focus of my lesson was to teach students about inferences and I think the quiz was a good way to make it interactive without taking away from the focus. </li></ul>
    9. 9. Added Value <ul><li>I think that whenever you can use technology in your lessons you really should. </li></ul><ul><li>I think that the students were able to pay better attention to my lesson because they were engaged and therefore were able to learn a lot more. </li></ul>
