  • 2. Brand Identity
    Through stop frame animation, I was able to achieve a star image motif as well as apply Goodwin’s Principle lyrics to visuals.
    This creates a bond between the digipack and music video – a form of brand identity.
    Colourisation links to the indie rock genre.
    The house colours on the background of the individual images makes it memorable as the neon colours stand out.
  • 3. Symbolism
    In the music video the heart acts as symbolism of the protagonist falling in love with the girl.
    The heart is a similar size to the CD and so is a good image motif to use as to go behind it as it fits perfectly.
    The consumer will make the link between the two products subconsciously
  • 4. Colours
    Typography links the front and back of the digipack.
    Both are on a spray painted background, emphasising the target audience as 16 – 25 (youth).
    The colours are linked throughout the digipack as the four prominent colours shown here are those on the heart behind the CD.
  • 5. Star Image Motif
    The front of the CD cover is the predominant image of the magazine advert – acts as a star image motif.
    The house colours are used as text colours on the informative section of the magazine advert.
    Less industry information is given on the magazine advert encouraging the consumer to look further in depth or perhaps by the CD.
