Types of epilepsy Absence seizures- Also known as staring spells, the person having this type of seizure causes them to stare off into space. Generalized- Seizure activity in the whole brain causes the person to pass-out Partial- Seizure activity in a small brain, the person is aware but unable to communicate with people. Tonic-clonic- Also known as Grand- Mal, this seizure makes the person having it go rigid and have small muscle jerks. My insight
NO KNOWN CURE There is no known cure for epilepsy. Medications are available and is highly recommended. Medications may stop you from having seizures. Surgery? My insight
