Design Statement
• This is a renovation project converting the convent at Abbotsford
to a fine dining bar/restaurant.
• The convent is a heritage listed gothic Revival-style, Victorian
building with a long history. Now a tourist site, many activities are
held here involving art and music. People come here for the
history and peaceful, natural atmosphere. Perspective of formal dining area
• The new bar/restaurant space is separated into informal dining
area, formal dining area and a private dining room. The areas are
flexible to suit different dining situations.
• Inspired by Tokujin Yoshioka's Rainbow Church, transparent
materials such as polycarbonate, glass and mirror are used.
These materials reflect light and look like shining crystal under the
light, adding a feeling of luxury.

Design Statement
• This is a renovation project located in Fitzroy. I took my inspiration
from one of the most popular sport football to continue the original
construction design of Fitzroy Pool with oval shape, which can be
seen in the original floor plan.
• Capturing the movement of the falling football ,the oval shapes is Perspective of reception area
mainly used with suspend ceilings and flooring to define the
functional spaces in the new layout. To fill with the abundant natural
light, the lobby-reception area and cafe bar area are well located in
front of the large glazed windows. For a better open view, all walls in
the cafe seating area are removed, and open up to the outdoor. Light,
both natural and artificial, is a key element for the entire place.
• The most eco-friendly and the most common materials can be seen
in Fitroy, such as brick, bluestone, recycle metal pipes and eco
plywood, dominate the entire space, to capture the spirit of Fitzroy.

Design Statement
• Inspired by the movie "Midnight in Paris", I took the idea that Paris has
different beauties, one in daytime and another at night, to create two
different views yet in one room in a harmonized way.
• Smooth, glossy and silk-like while sustainable fabrics are used to create Perspective of living area
a luxurious and elegant environment in contrast colors.
• Use of jewelry colors such as Silver, Purple are accented with black and
white. Bold use of black color on walls and fabric to create a sense of
mystique and romantic.
• Natural elements such as bird cage, driftwood sticks lamp, iron wire bird
and botanic pattern soft furnishing are used to bring the garden feeling
into the room. Detail design on the wall with architectural detail to
enhance the French style.

Perspective of bed view
• Inspired by the family holiday photos, this kid’s room is designed in
beach theme to create a happy and relaxing space.
• To achieve that a number of different elements are combined and
incorporated beautifully together, such as beach umbrella, Ships
Wheel, Surf Board, Captain Boat Bed, wooden deco wall and the
net behind the bed, all with a lively colour palette of blue, lime, white
and brown.
• The layout is designed specifically per the client’s requirement of
clearly defined functional space. Built with eco-friendly materials
and soft furnishings, this room appears in a colourful look and joyful
atmosphere.

• I took inspiration from Zaha Hadid’s design while I developed my
design proposal.
• Zaha Hadid is internationally known as an Architectural Designer,
whose works produce the unexpected and dynamic architectural
forms.
• I created my design with curvilinear shapes to divide different
functional areas, while keeping a clear and open travel line.
Sustainable and eco friendly materials have been used in the whole
house, such as plastic look wall in the foyer, dining table and chairs
made of 100% recyclable polypropylene, polycarbonate for the
office wall, Liquid Wood for Shelving Unit, combining a simple
