Tudor medicines Gout when you was a heavy drinker and your foot swelled up people made a mixture of worms,pigs marrow,red haired dog and herbs boiled together to apply on your foot Headache If you had a headache you would press hangman's rope onto your forehead If you had a cold you should boil the heads of p o ppies and a little bit of sugar to make syrup
