About LitWorld has been established as a 501(c)3 organization to positively impact children’s health, safety, and work-readiness worldwide through transformational literacy experiences. Led by literacy expert Pam Allyn, LitWorld serves the world’s most vulnerable children by distributing books, supporting access to innovative technologies that will foster the development of reading and writing skills, and providing lessons and invaluable resources on the teaching of reading to teachers. LitWorld helps children read and write stories and share them across the world, thereby bringing cultures together and enabling children to serve as diplomats for understanding and friendship across all borders
