Raffle posters were created topromote the “Give Me A Break”CampaignThrough networking we obtained 3 large raffleprizes:1) 2 nights at Seattle’s Kimpton Hotels2) 1 night at Vancouver’s Coast Coal Harbour Hotel3) Brunch for 2 at Aura Restaurant

Ticket offices were set up to sell raffle tickets

A serious future...Both serious coffee franchises would like tocontinue supporting Wear 2 Start annually!

A total success...1054 items received and $802 raised to help hundreds of women in need!

Insight Our initial goal was to obtain a long termcorporate relationship with Serious Coffee. Dueto the short time frame of three weeks, wereceived commitment from two franchiselocations. More time would have also allowedus to develop additional fundraising activitiesand raise more money for Wear 2 Start.

What Wear 2 Start had to say…“One day two lovely ladies came to Wear 2 Start and offered their help. We are a small organization witha big mandate and pulling off a successful fundraiser is no easy task! It is remarkable that the ProjectChange group came to us when they did - the stars must have aligned in just the right way. We wereworking very hard to recruit donations from local businesses for our annual fundraiser and we almosthad it all together except for hotels in Vancouver and Seattle for the top two prizes. We were stuck.Then along came Cheryl, Lindsey and the rest of the team to the rescue! Not only did they manage toget us overnight stays at three beautiful hotels, but they were able to organize a clothing drive and comeup with ways to earn cash donations. The teams help was more than we at Wear 2 Start could everhave hoped for - they really did go above and beyond. Their dedication to our cause was commendableand without their help, Wear 2 Start would not even have the chance to have a fundraiser. We wontknow until the draw date how well our raffle goes, but I do know that whatever success comes from itcan be directly attributed to the Project Change team.
