    • There is an Explosion in Cloud Services Video Web 2.0 apps M2M Internet of Things WebCommunications 10x Increase in Data Traffic Across Service Online Gaming Mobile Apps Provider Networks File Sharing & Backup Music Streaming As we all know, Web based applications and OTT services are driving a large increase in data traffic in service provider networks, especially mobile. This brings new challenges.

A DPI is often used, but is limited to steering based on packet-level inspection of flows. But a single flow can contain multiple HTTP service requests.
