Ford S-Max Magna 项目回顾 Sample Project, Case Study Ford Motor Company decided to investigate the feasibility of a plastic fender for the new X-Max model. MAGNA, globally one of the major suppliers to the automotive industry, was requested as a partner to design, develop and investigate the feasibility of the brand new product. The Galaxy fender was designed to be made in sheet-steel. As a FSS (Full Service Supplier) it was up to the supplier to organise and preside the meetings within Ford in either Genk or Köln. Full P&L responsibility for the overall project. MAGNA got the contract to supply the bumper systems and decided to build a new factory in Belgium to make the new bumper systems. As a FSS it was up to MAGNA to organise and preside the meetings within Ford in Genk and Köln.
