  • xiby George Sciberras Wouldn't it be nice if all followers commented on member's show. It shows a sign of friendship and appreciation. , PENSIONER at My own sweet home This is a very good presentation so please Lilian allow me to help those who do not understand Spanish, not that I am fluent in language but I understand most of it:
Dante, was an Italian poet of the Middle Ages. His central work, the Divina Commedia (originally called Commedia and later called Divina ('divine') by Boccaccio), is often considered one of the greatest literary works composed in the Italian language and a masterpiece of world literature. Dante's family was prominent in Florence. Although Dante was married, he had already fallen in love with another woman, Beatrice Portinari (known also as Bice). Years after his marriage to Gemma, he met Beatrice again. He had become interested in writing verse, and although he wrote several sonnets to Beatrice, he never mentioned his wife Gemma in any of his poems. It is known that he studied Tuscan poetry. Dante's Divine Comedy, a work in 100 cantos, is divided into three books of thirty-three cantos each, with a single introductory canto.
