Chocolate Self- Saucing Pudding Document Transcript

  • 1. Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding Ingredients Equipment Pudding:  100g soft butter (melted)  ¾ cup sugar  1 egg  1 teaspoon vanilla essence  1 ¼ plain flour  2 teaspoons baking powder  1 tablespoon cocoa  2 cups boiling water Sauce:  ½ cup brown sugar  1 tablespoon corn flour  ¼ cup cocoa  Six to eight cup capacity ovenproof dish  2 Mixing bowls  Wooden spoon  Measuring cups and spoons  Fork  Table cloth  Bowls and spoons (to serve) Method 1- Make sure the kitchen is clean and you have all your equipment and ingredients to start cooking. 2- Preheat oven to 170 degrees.
  • 2. 3- Beat melted butter, sugar, egg and vanilla essence together. 4- Sift flour and add baking powder and cocoa together. 5- Knead the mixture until it is combined and into a ball.
  • 3. 6- Grease the ovenproof dish and flaten mixture into the baking dish. 7- Mix the sauce ingredients together and sprinkle over the pudding. 8- Carefully pour boiling water over the back of a spoon onto the pudding
  • 4. 9- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until pudding springs back when lightly touched with a fork. 10- Serve with Ice-cream, custard or cream and Enjoy (: Serves: 6
