Project Requirements<br />Each group will be responsible for contributing:<br />Cheetah Decades Wiki Participation - 20 pts<br />Decades Table: at least 1 event per decade with explanation, media links, and source links<br />Media choice should represent the decade, be prepared to justify your choice<br />1 event that shows what was going on in Grand Junction related to your category<br />Multimedia Timeline – 20 pts<br />Minimum 10 events that contain image/audio/video files<br />Daily Work Grade – 5 pts/day<br />Optional – for enhanced grade<br />Bring in artifacts from any decade in any category<br />
  10. 10. Resources <br />Books and print:<br />Start with books and print materials to build a framework of essential information related to your research category.<br />Take notes on<br />Defining events<br />Important people<br />Innovations and advances<br />

Resources <br />Electronic Resources:<br />Use electronic resources to search for images, audio and video that captures the essence of your decade.<br />Draw on primary source material in Library of Congress and other sites <br />Whenever possible, use media that is licensed for re-use (creative commons, public domain, GNU). Some copyrighted material may be used, but ALL must be given proper attribution.<br />Analyze for authenticity and importance to the decade<br />

  15. 15. Save image and media files in the proper folders in Mr. DeFord’s R drive folder. Be sure to name files descriptively
