    • Instructor’s Background •Taught 4 years high school in China •5 years graduate study at UIC (Second Language & Curriculum Instruction) •4th year teaching at SHS
    • Chinese Program • Started in 2006; • 85 students; 1 level, Chinese 1 • 3 levels in 2008 • 135 students; Chinese1, Chinese2x, Chinese3x • 4 levels since 2009 • About 200 students • AP Chinese • Trip to China in the summer of 2009, 2011, 2013
