    Use your keyword plus “News” in a Google search;
    Identify the reporters who cover the space;
    Begin with an email to the reporter introducing yourself, the products and services you offer and a brief note about a recent article they published with good unbiased information that could be useful for them in their next article;
    Dealing with the press is the same process as selling your product or service to a prospective customer;
    Relate your product or service to the most popular press topics;
    Example: If there is a newly proposed tax bill being debated in Congress an accounting firm might provide an analysis of the impact of the proposed legislation.
