" Guidelines1Call the Florida Department of Financial Services at 850-413-3137, ext. 1101, to learn if yourequalified to become licensed bail bondsman in Florida.2Go to the Florida Security Agents Association (see Resources) website to enroll in its 120-hourcourse. The classes usually just take 2-3 weeks to perform. During this time period youll receivetraining from law enforcement and bail bond agent instructors. By 2011, the course fee was $150.3Enroll in the correspondence course at the University of Florida, the INS 3 --- Bail & Bail BondInsurance --- at 352-392-1711. By 2011, the fee for the course and course manual was $300.
