These days there are more ways than ever for fitness buffs and workout junkies to stay motivated and track their progress through wearable gadgets. Wearable tech has the ability to provide more convenience than ever, and with so many items on the market, consumers have plenty of options. In a recent article, Wall Street Cheat Sheet rated some of their favorite wearable fitness items. Here is a sampling below.
1. JayBird Reign activity tracker
Scheduled to release this summer, JayBird is a wristband that tracks the wearers every move. And when we say “every move,” we mean it. It is capable of identifying different exercises as the user performs them and provides heart rate data to determine activity and rest levels. It even tracks your sleep. It is available for iOS, Android and as a Web app.

Parents can set up rewards for their kids that are tied to their tracked activity levels. The kids version costs $35, while the adult version costs $50.
