  • Thanks for sharing this presentation, Lew. iPads certainly are a necessary tool for trade shows. Tablets can easily be turned into unattended kiosks for data collection and are perfect for attracting visitors to your trade show booth.

However, it can be challenging to know where to start to implement tablets at events. We recently wrote a blog post sharing tips for using tablets at events: http://blog.quicktapsurvey.com/2014/03/20/best-practices-for-using-tablets-at-events/

Are there any other tips that you would add to this list?

  • We make elegant, streamlined iPad kiosks, displays, and stands for trade show purposes. You can run the iPad on battery all day, or plug the iPad into an outlet at your trade show booth. Contact me for more information, volume pricing, and so forth (and no I'm not a robot, rather an actual human being in our boutique company in Silicon Valley).

  • If you are using the Apple iPad at work or at trade shows, you can protect it from theft with the STAYPad Security Case from Doss Industries.

The Model K2.0 also covers the HOME button to prevent the interruption of your presentation. (Makes a great kiosk!)

All metal construction, the STAYPad can be secured to a table with a cable or screws.

Using the easy touch screen display, exhibitors can enter attendees badge numbers, then they are prompted to add a note, qualifier or take a survey. Can capture qualify tradeshow leads anywhere and anytime, on the show floor, at parties even at the airport. Developed in response to complaints about traditional lead retrieval, in particular barcodes and unqualified lead lists.
