Brunnen This used to be the Grand Hotel in Brunnen owned by my grandmother’s parents. Now it has new owners and has been remolded and the name of the hotel today is “Grand Palais Brunnen”.

These paintings are from the 17 th century depicting events from Luzern’s history (Frysinger). Then in 1993 the majority of the bridge was destroyed in a fire, although the bridge was quickly rebuilt. There are 110 paintings in all.
