In preparation for the 2013 Carolinas Conference which will be held in Greensboro, NC by National Black MBA Association Piedmont Triad Chapter, Our Business Development Chair, Chisa D. Pennix-Brown, MBA has compiled the preliminary event production slideshow. This presentation will familiarize you with the organization as a whole while providing insight on how you can be a part of the Conference.

MissionThe National Black MBA Association leadsin the creation of educationalopportunities and economic growth forAfrican Americans.Providing innovative programs tostimulate their intellectual and economicgrowth.Building partnerships with key stakeholderswho help facilitate this growth .Increasing awareness and facilitatingaccess to graduate managementeducation programs and careeropportunities in management fields.
  4. 4. Levels of Membership• Full - includes professionals with a National Black MBA graduate degree in any particular field Association (MBA, MHA, MPA, MS, MA, JD, etc.). Associate - includes professionals without a graduate degree but with extensive experience or entrepreneurial success.• Student - status includes students enrolled in any graduate degree Membership Rates program. New/Renewing members Annual rates cover membership for need to submit evidence of one full year from date of payment matriculation into a graduate being received. degree program (i.e. a copy of a current school ID card). Full & Associate: $125/year• Lifetime - status is granted to any member who makes the financial Student: $60/year commitment to the full or associate lifetime status. Lifetime: $1,000 one time payment or 3 $350 installments over 3 years
