  2. 2. Big Ben Big Ben is the nick name for the great bell of the clock. It celebrated its 150 th aniversary in May 2009. The clock was finished being built on April 10th 1858. Big Ben is next to the river Thames. And the houses of parliament are joined up. On the other side of the river, there's the Lodon eye. By: Alex and Pedro

THE TOWER OF LONDON <ul><li>Her majesty's Royal Palace and fortress more commolny know as the tower of London is a historic castle on the north bank of the London district of the tower hamelets. </li></ul><ul><li>It was built towards the end of 1066 as part of the Norman an conquest of England. It was a prison. </li></ul><ul><li>The tower contains the collection of jewerly of the royal family. </li></ul><ul><li>The jewelry are the main tourist attraction, there are two of the biggest diamonds in the world. On 28th August 2003, the illusionist David Blaine remained standing on the roof of one of the capsules during 30 minutes. It's the world's highest observation wheel. Carolina & Judit
