Hollywood Accounting is the process in which when a film is released by a studio(s), large profits are made from the films box office, but the financial statement on the film says that the film was actually less profitable than it was. This method is performed to hoard the profits for film studios and the bigger stars in the film itself and to underpay film staff. Is this fair.
