On Dating: - Synonymous with “going out” - Exclusively dating a member of the opposite sex for an extended period of time - Also called “Dating” - Means you are exclusive to each other; no dating other people; - To date someone exclusively and see them on a regular basis. Kids first start going steady in Middle School - Somehow introducing to some peers in some social gatherings for example. - Happens after flirtation Going Steady

  • 4. On Romantic Love: - Deeper than Infatuation - It involves fantasy and idealization - Knowing each other deeply - Being comfortable in each other’s side Going Steady
  • 5. Dating and Courtship -Giving Flowers -Dating in Restaurants
  • 6. Dating and Courtship -Hugging -Holding Hands -Being Comfortable in each other’s side
