Dallas-Fort Worth Designated Market Area (DMA)• Largest land-locked metropolitan area in the world:• Total 2011 population: 7,392,504• The DMA encompasses 9,286 square miles (21,100 km2) of total area, making it larger in area than the U.S. States of Rhode Island and Connecticut, combined.• Although Dallas is a multicultural city, its “personality” from a broad perspective is clearly Anglo American and strongly nouveau-riche and business-savvy.
