    • 12 Placements Typical career path scenarios for Mechanical Engineering are: A Mechanical Engineer can start his career in Government departments by entry from Astt. Engineer post by direct central recruitment through advertisement in newspaper. They can also be selected to Gazette posts through competitive examinations conducted by Union and State Public Service Commission. In Defense Services, young engineers start as second Lieutenants or equivalent cadres after getting selected through Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy. All the three wings visit our campuses for recruitment of Mechanical engineers. Similarly there are vacancies in the public & private sector like N.T.P.C, N.H.P.C, E.I.L, O.N.G.C, G.A.I.L, B.H.E.L, H.A.L, Etc & Maruti, Hero Honda, RICO , Sona Steering etc Tie up with industries like Imperial Auto Limited Faridabad, Abilities India Pistons & rings Ghaziabad, Indian Oil, Vizag Steels They can even start their own small business by manufacturing Mechanical Equipment ,Machinery, Tools & Accessories and Maintenance of these items.
