Registering for the site allows the user to save searches and bookmark jobs which can be accessed from any internet PC. No email is required. A password reminder option is also available. http://jobseekers.direct.gov.uk/homepage.aspx Click Log in/ Register

Log in if you have a username Fill in your details to register When logged in you can see your saved searches, bookmarked jobs and change your registration details (password). Click New search Log out button

Searching There are a number of search options which can be combined Search Tips are available Search Tips

Browsing by category and location Click Job Categories Select a job type

You can now select a geographical area or place Options can be chosen e.g. hours or work then click Search You can search JCP or external providers

Jobs are listed Your search can be saved - click Type a name for your search

Click on a job to see more details You can bookmark a job to save it in your account This job page has been bookmarked Other searches relating to the terms you have used – type and location

Related search results pick up hair and Preston results You can also search by place or region

You can also search by hours and currency of vacancy After selecting a place you can search by type of job or all jobs

You can change the order of the results list From any screen you can view your searches or Log out

Saved searches can be run by clicking on them or deleted To delete click continue The changes are confirmed

Logging out Remember to Log out Confirm by clicking continue When logged out you see Log in here
