The term most often refers to messages sent using the Short Message Service(SMS).What is SMS?SMS is an acronym standing for Short Message Service. It is commonly referred to as text messaging or "texting".SMS is a method by which messages can be sent to a cell phone via another cell phone, a computer connected tothe internet, smartphones, and other handheld devices, i.e., a Blackberry, Droid or an iPhone.What is a Keyword?A keyword is a word that members can text to 67777 from their own mobile phone to join your group. i.e. Text LCJ to67777. (LCJ is the keyword)Who owns the keyword?You can use the keyword for as long as you continue to pay for the mobile campaign on a monthly basis.What if I need to buy more keywords?LCJ allows for you to purchase additional keywords for $25 each per monthWho has ownership rights to the database?The great advantage to mobile marketing is the database that you create. You own the data and LCJ has no rights tothe database. The database will never be re-sold or used for any purposes other than your own. The data is protectedby FCC regulations and therefore the actual mobile numbers cant be seen in their entirety to prevent "Spamming".LCJ works in strict compliance with FCC regulations to protect our clients and the interest of the mobile user.What is a short code?A short code is a promotional, usually five-digit number, that acts as the cell phone number. A short code isestablished for promotional text messaging. Our short code is 67777.How do you opt in to a mobile marketing campaign?By texting the keyword associated with the mobile marketing campaign from your cell phone to the short code beingutilized.How do you ‘opt out’ of a mobile marketing campaign?Reply STOP to the text message sent to conclude your mobile marketing campaign.What counts as a message?Each message that hits a member’s mobile phone is counted towards your monthly limit. (1 message sent to 100people = 100 messages)Do I have to sign a long term contract?No. LCJ Media offers monthly campaigns. There are no long term contracts or commitments on your part.Are there mobile campaigns plans with more or less messages?Absolutely. If you need more or less messages than our plans offer, contact us. We offer plans up to one millionmessages per month (no joke).What if I dont use all of the text messages?Text messages acquired in your SMS packages are carried over to future months, although text messages in youroriginal package do not.Are any messages FREE?Yes, inbound messages are free. We do not count inbound or received messages against the message count of yourplan. Only outbound messages (messages that our system sends) are counted against your message plan.
