This report captures the synopsis of thediscussion and analysis held by the panel on Quality Management at the LASSIB Society CXO Round TableConference held in Hyderabad on 25th August 2012. The conference had six focused themes driven towardsachieving organization excellence. These include: 1. Risk Management 2. Strategy Development 3. Sales 4. Procurement and Vendor Management 5. Quality Management 6. Recruitment and RetentionAll the above, including Quality Management are key to achieving excellence within any organization, be it apart of any business domain, geography or size. In this report we focus on the central views discussed by thepanel towards the state of Quality Management. If organizations underestimate the importance of qualitymanagement, they will inadvertently find themselves in situations where all the other factors listed above, andmany more are also impacted negatively.The exciting discussions and perspectives brought forward by a diversified set of CXOs indicates the currentstate of Quality Management practices in the industry, along with the challenges, opportunities forimprovement and expected trends in the coming years. As economies and industries across the globe facedifficult times, these findings serve a critical purpose.
