  1. 1. What is a plane?• A plane is an aircraft heavier than the air, piloted, powered and with a fixed wing.• It flies through the support of the lift.• The first flight was in 17th of December in 1903It lasted 12 seconds, and travelled 36metres.
  2. 2. • An autogiro is an aircraft heavier than the air, piloted, powered and with a auto rotatoring wing.• It flies through the suport of the lift.• Gernerated with the body of autogiro and the wings of the rotor.
  3. 3. What is an helicopter?• An helicopter is an aircraft heavier than the air, piloted, powered and with a rotatoring wing• It flies through the suport of the lift generated with the body of helicopter and the wings of the rotor.
  4. 4. Lift (sustentació)• Lift is the force that directly opposes the weight of an airplane and holds the airplane in the air. Lift is generated by every part of the airplane, but most of the lift on a normal airliner is generated by the wings.
  5. 5. So finally, what is an heliogiro?• An heliogiro is a hybrid vehicle between an helicopter, an autogiro, and a plane.• So it can take off like an helicopter, and fly as fast as a plane!• The inventor of heliogiro is Mr. Juan de la Cierva Hoces.
  6. 6. The project• The project that we are going to do consists of the following steps: 1. Buy a model of an helicopter and build it. 2. Make a model of a plane and attach it to the helicopter. 3. Modify the helicopter (rotor and body modifications)• Heliogiro
