What is “Design and (e)PR”?
It seems like everyone is saying the same thing with regard to the internet. It’s not a matter of the web being a luxury anymore. Having a website is as basic as having a phone number. So you commit to having a website – now what?
That’s where we come in. Kurt von Ahnen has been playing on the web since the early 90’s and has a firm grasp on the animal we call “social media”. Here’s an Example… Artistic Homes signed with us in September of 2009. They are by far the Nation’s leader in LEED-H certified home-building. Their website though was a combination of multiple sites, diluting their message. We built them a site with sub-domains to address their multiple sales locations, a Facebook page, and a Twitter account that we maintain for them. Within one month of working with us, we gained 72,000 hits to their main URL and got them featured on KOAT News for their ZERO ENERGY Home!

Rather than each client being an opportunity to show off and drive up costs, the culture at Von Ahnen Designs & PR is to best serve the client where they are at, still leaving room for growth. Some of our clients have updates performed daily, some weekly, and some handle the updates on their own after the site is published.
It is important to understand the message your “electronic” marketing is intending to send. Some of our sites are very basic while some are involved. In the end, they are all built to the needs and budget of our client. The “Social Media” aspects of our business are designed as an add-on.
