  • 6. Targets and Aspirations
    • Students have been set Fischer Family Trust Type D targets (FFT(D)).
    • FFT(D) is used in nearly all secondary schools in England and forms part of the CVA calculation process.
    • The targets are meant to be challenging and aspirational
    • The targets are based on KS2 scores and suggest outcomes for the average student.
    • We firmly believe that this is not an average school and we will work with your child to achieve their full potential
    • How should you discuss targets with your child?
  • 7. Assessment windows
    • Parent’s Evening Thursday 3 rd Nov 4.30pm
    • Opportunity to discuss your child’s most recent Assessment Data, raise any concerns or ask questions as to possible 6 th form options.
    • Full written report
    • You will receive the report w/c 6 th Feb 2012
    • A final set of assessment levels will be issued w/c 26 th March.

    • Controlled and modular assessments
    • Mathematics Sets 2/3 Final Unit March 2012 Set 1 iGCSE June 2012 All Students will sit GCSE Statistics (Cwk 25%)
    • English All students will sit English Literature in June.
    • Science Triple award students will have modular exams in Jan.
    • GCSE examinations begin w/c 14 th May 2012.
