Yo Elmex, impressive slideshow. Visually stunning.

Agree on your point of not replacing offline by online. It would be great to lose the pfysical barriers. Check for example http://academicearth.org/ ; the content should not be the problem.

There is an aspect of social peer pressure for motivation to study. We both know that the age of a typical college student is not the era with the strongest feelings of responsibility. Slacking of and not showing up in college is at some point frowned upon by fellow students, which helps study progress. How can this be maintained in mobile learning environments?

Personally I have experienced a Twitchat twice now. A fixed time (pfysical boundary) where people tune in to discuss 2 topics (pre-defined by polls in the week before) in 1 hour. The session is moderated and people are being kept on topic. It is mobile (the physical boundary of place and dresscode are removed) though there is still a sense of ’group’ which very much enhances the learning experience.

Good luck with your work! Did u see a doctor yet?

Notes on slide 1

Mobility, what does and can it mean, and as a designer what do I want it to mean? If I design for mobile learning how do I want to integrate the related mobility aspect.
