  • 2. KEY WORDS
    • PRINTS - are the copies made of the original film
    • Advertising- is the process in which the film is promoted and publicized by use of different means such as posters, word of mouth, toys, blogs etc.
    • Distributor - is the company that duplicates ‘prints’ and distributes these copies.
  • 3. PRINTS
    • (Film print) A release print is the reel of film that is sent to a movie theater for exhibition. Historically, they are copies of the dupe negative, more commonly known today as the Internegative, which in turn is a copy of a physically cut-together reel of filmstrips.
  • 4. ADVERTISING
    • Advertising is a form of communication used by film companies and distributors persuade viewers to buy their product. It may cost the companies millions of dollars or thousands or dollars depending on the profit/loss or the money they made overall.
    • Advertising may be in the form of Posters, Tv, radio, internet etc.
  • 5. DISTRIBUTOR
    • A film distributor is a company or individual responsible for releasing a film publicly and sells copies of the tape to cinemas and stores where viewers can see it.
