  • History of Colorado
      • On August 1, 1876 Colorado was admitted to the United States.
      • 38th state and earning it the moniker "Centennial State",    
    • because it entered the union in 1876, 100 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
  • Colorado flag
      • Designed by Andrew Carlisle Johnson in 1911.  The blue stands for the sky and the white stands for the snow capped mountans.

      • State population - around 39,864, 1876
