My thoughts about life My thoughts about life Presentation Transcript

    • A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life.
    • Don't go around saying the world owes you a living, the world owes you nothing, it was here first.
    • All the art of living lies in a fine mingling of letting go and holding on.
    • All life is an experiment, the more experiments you make the better.
    • Believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create the fact.
    • Every man dies. Not every man really lives.
    • Any idiot can face a crisis, it's day to day living that wears you out.
    • Fortunately analysis is not the only way to resolve inner conflicts. Life itself still remains a very effective therapist.
    • Everything has been figured out, except how to live.
    • Everything in life is luck.
    • God writes a lot of comedy, the trouble is, he's stuck with so many bad actors who don't know how to play funny.
    • Here is the test to find whether your mission on Earth is finished: if you're alive, it isn't.
    • I have a simple philosophy: Fill what's empty, empty what's full, and scratch where it itches.
    • I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see.
    • I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day.
    • In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: It goes on.
    • I think I've discovered the secret of life - you just hang around until you get used to it.
    • Life consists not in holding good cards but in playing those you hold well.
    • Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.
    • It is not length of life, but depth of life.
    • Life has meaning only if one barters it day by day for something other than itself.
    • Life is a dream for the wise, a game for the fool, a comedy for the rich, a tragedy for the poor.
    • Life is a long lesson in humility.
    • Life is half spent before we know what it is.
    • Life is something to do when you can't get to sleep.
    • Life is never easy for those who dream.
    • Life is wasted on the living.
    • Life itself still remains a very effective therapist.
    • My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can.
    • Life loves the liver of it.
    • Life must be lived as play.
    • Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself.
    • People living deeply have no fear of death.
    • The art of living is more like wrestling than dancing.
    • The fear of life is the favorite disease of the 20th century.
    • The perfect normal person is rare in our civilization.
