  • At the end I will show you how I tie it together with other marketing for better results and higher ROI Facebook marketing refers to creating—and actively using—a Facebook page as a communications channel to maintain contact with and attract customers. Users are allowed to create individual profiles or business pages for companies, organizations, or any group attempting to develop a fan base for a product, service, or brand. Facebook has made a profound impact on how we communicate and interact. Authentic Identity – FB offers marketers the ability to target these real people based on authentic information that they share about themselves with friends. Other digital advertising embed tracking cookies to follow users around online to make assumptions about someone’s buying decisions.
  • First, it’s not easily searchable, how will someone find your page? 2 nd why should they take the effort Tell someone the benefit to them and then make it easy for them to find you Custom URL My Url is long and ugly. I have a special URL which I will share at the end to easily find my page. Use bit.ly if necessary
  • What shows on About section? How to explain this?
  • Can schedule posts – I sit for an hour and schedule posts to save time and gets me in the mode
  • Edgerank If all you get with your postings is have fans think – that’s a nice post without them taking action – you are wasting your time
  • Rock, paper, scissors – images over links, links over text for edgerank
  • Purpose: Fanpageengine Make a list of 3 rd party apps to do this – put on my website Can use Wordpress webpage to pull in with premium plugins Need 3 rd party app to run contests which we will talk about in the next section and I will show you how it works Use pages when advertising Use as a Landing Page: Can include videos, forms to collect contact info or have them sign up for something,
  • People are authentic and tell facebook what they like so it’s easier for us to target them with ads
  • Need 3 rd party app because Facebook says so – it allows you to get people’s email address so that you can contact them that they have won
  • All effect the outcome for successful results
