  • 2. لما حضر رمضان قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قد جاءكم رمضان شهر مبارك افترض الله عليكم صيامه تفتح فيه أبواب الجنة ويغلق فيه أبواب الجحيم وتغل فيه الشياطين فيه ليلة خير من ألف شهر من حرم خيرها فقد حرم.
    Verily, the month of Ramadhan is came to you which is the month of blessing. God ask you to fasting. He open all doors of Heavens and close all doors of Hell while the devil is tied up and there was a one night better than thousand of month.

  • 3. The word Ramadhan comes from Arabic word Ramada. It has two meanings;
    It means hot or burn because most of Arab country is a dry land.
    It is also intrepreted as the month of blessings whereby Muslims fast in this month for the sake of Allah. All sins done by Muslims are forgiven by Allah.

  • 4. Prophet Muhammad said: Whoever fasts during Ramadhan with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven.(Bukhari and Muslim)
    There are a lot of benefits or hikmah from fasting. Many Islamic scholars agreed that fasting can prevent man from committing sins.
