    • K E Y N O T E  INSTITUTIONAL  RESEARCHIndia Morning NoteTuesday, March 06, 2012Domestic Markets Snapshot Views on markets today Name of Index 3-Mar 5-Mar Change (%) • The Indian markets remained under pressure all Sensex 17,636.99 17,362.87 -1.55% throughout the day and registered its lowest closing CNX Nifty 5,359.40 5,280.35 -1.47% level in more than a month. The Sensex began the session 39 points lower at 17598 on the back of BSE Mid-cap 6,359.29 6,271.17 -1.39% negative global cues. The index slipped further and BSE IT 6,118.39 6,051.16 -1.10% extended losses on all-round selling. Weak European BSE Banks 12,022.08 11,706.88 -2.62% cues further led the index to touch an intraday low ofFII Activity (`Cr) 17312 in the mid-afternoon session. The Sensex closed 274 points lower at 17363. and the Nifty stood Date Buy Sell Net at 5280, down by 79 points. Heavyweights like ICICI 2-Mar 2,385 1,783 602 Bank, RIL, Infosys, SBI, HDFC, L&T, HDFC Bank 1-Mar 2,437 2,161 276 dragged the markets.
