2. Trailer Analysis Conclusion
Post Questionnaire Conclusion;
What I’ve learnt from my trailer
analysis.
I analysed a further four trailers to see whether
these (selected one that were mentioned as all
time favourites by my participants of my
questionnaire) had similarities or differences in
terms of the questions I answered or the analysis
of my other three trailers earlier.
The results show that were more similarities than
differences all four trailers used text to either
reveal plot, The Collection and The Conjuring also
used this method to inform us of linked films and
directors/writers, just as The Human Centipede
did earlier in my research. Making a majority of 7
trailers I’ve analysed consistent in using this text
method to help reinforce plot and genre along
with the dialogue and video.
3. How Will I Use This Research
Post Research Conclusion
I have learnt through the analysis Professional trailers they all share particular elements
These help make the audience of things such as plot/narrative, genre and the characters, this has
helped me gain ideas about how I should present these ideas in my own trailer. The extended
analysis of these four trailers selected by my questionnaire participants and as helped me realise
similarities even when the plots when the duo-genres differ. This research has broadened my
knowledge on how ideas that my trailer may portray can be presented.
