  • 2. Opening your e-mail
    • When you have an account and an e-mail address you are ready to start sending and receiving e-mails.
  • 3. Opening your e-mail
    • Follow these steps
    • Open your Google homepage ( www.google.com )
    • Click on the GMail icon
  • 4. Opening your e-mail
    • You should have opened the GMail homepage. This is where you sign in
    • Type in your username
    • Type in your password
    • Click sign in button
  • 5. Opening your e-mail
    • You should now have signed into your account.
    • Lets look at what is on this screen
  • 6. Opening your e-mail
    • Let’s look at what e-mails we have. This is called the Inbox
    • Click on the Inbox
    • Your Inbox will show you how many messages you have.
  • 7. Opening your e-mails
    • This is the Inbox
    • If you click on the hyperlink under the subject of the message you want to read the message will open.
    • This lets you read the e-mail and also lets you decide what to do next.

    • There is a lot of information on the page that will help you with your e-mailing.
    • We will go through some of the important ones and see what they mean and what they do.
    • There will be a lot of new vocabulary for you to learn.
