  • Social media tools don’t build conversation. They support it.
  • Social media offers a great opportunity for businesses to reconnect with people. If people realize realize that business today is not necessarily representative of real world desires
  • Markets are conversations. The time of passive masses has passed. This is now an attention economy. A link economy.
  • This doesn’t always work well with traditional corporate norms. Audiences want to be talked to, not talked at.
  • Customers are now in charge. People find each other. Join forces. They can support you, correct you, criticize you, hurt you, help you.
