4. Needs more enforcementMost kids take up online schooling due to bullying in public schools. “Very little cyber bullying though it is out there. I think it is a much bigger issue in public schools. ” -Ben Liddle-
5. “A time to relax and not be stressed.” –Kara Whisler- Fowl or inappropriate language. Couples all over each other. Meeting people around the world, or around your state. Socialization
7. Involvement. “My parents are not included at all in my education. I pick my classes with a counselor and take them to her when my grades are low as well.” –Kara Whisler- Parents might get a monthly news letter about what is going on. “My parents are a huge factor in my education. They push me to my limits!” –Ben Liddle- Lots of parent teacher student activities. Parents and teachers communicate almost daily.
8. Time Management. Public schools start around 7:30am. Your brain doesn’t start functioning normally until 9am. Set dates when a family can travel. “If I finish early in class, I am stuck till it is over.” –Kara Whisler- “Because I travel so much, school time always seems to be hard to get. I have so many activities going on with sports, recreation, appointments, and just having some family and friends time! If I was in public school, my schedule would be impossible to keep up with. But, because I am in online school, my life can be extraordinary!” -Ben Liddle-
